Jasmine introduced a cheer program to the school and it’s helped build the confidence of those on the team. “[She] goes above and beyond for her students, many of whom come from low income households. She never treats them like less because they have less,” her nominator writes.

“Rob attends all the students’ sports events, plays, and concerts, and manages to bring a smile to his classroom daily,” his nominator writes. A martial arts instructor and fifth grade teacher, Rob works to find what interests each individual student to help them succeed.

When he started at the school as a custodian, David ‘Pops’ Cuddington took the time to learn every student’s name. He then became a teacher and a coach for unified sports, putting an emphasis on sportsmanship. “He’s always ready with a smile, a fist bump, and a word of wisdom,” his nominator writes.
