STEAM EDucation
In 2020, Brewer Science launched a Virtual Learning Lab video series to reach students with educational STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math) topics since quarantine restrictions prohibited visiting schools for in-person presentations.
In addition to providing university scholarships, Brewer Science also participates in educational events such as Project Lead the Way, in which students receive feedback from our engineers on their capstone projects.
We are also proud to host an annual Manufacturing Day event to bring together local manufacturers for an educational opportunity to explore the world of manufacturing.

PuRE Enjoyment Art Show
Brewer Science, with the help of the Springfield Regional Arts Council, has hosted the Pure Enjoyment Art Show since 2002. The virtual exhibit component started in 2020, to accommodate COVID quarantine restrictions and feature not only local artists, but artists from across the globe. In addition to the juried exhibit, there are also People's Choice Awards. The Pure Enjoyment Art Show starts accepting entries in early July.
Employee-Led Fundraising
Brewer Science employees enjoy supporting local non-profits each year in an effort to connect the company values to their passions. On an annual basis, employees collect donations for local animal shelters, veterans’ homes, and community needs. In 2021, employees organized seven different fundraisers raising over $6,000 through various methods, including chili cook-offs and donation drives.

Corporate Giving
designing to zero defects: pioneers of perfection
Brewer Science takes a unique approach to corporate giving that allows each employee to be heard and have a voice in the program. Even with over 400 employees and ten international offices, contributions can be made based on one employee’s initiative. We also make non-monetary impacts such as donating laptops, microscopes, and eyeglasses.

Global Warming is a hot topic lately, pun intended, contributing to an over 2-degree temperature increase in the last two centuries—which might not seem significant until you factor in the larger stress it puts on our ecosystem (and economy): fire threats, water shortages, and increases in natural disasters. From a business economics standpoint, this is detrimental. From a humanitarian standpoint, this is unacceptable.
The device you are using right now—whether it be a phone, tablet or even a computer—is smaller than its predecessors, yet its capabilities are far greater than ever before. With the challenge to produce microchips on the smallest scale possible, manufacturers must devise a solution to protect fragile integrated circuits, while dissipating heat and increasing performance, all while connecting to the circuit board and other elements. This demanded the introduction of the innovative solution: wafer-level packaging.
