Trinh originally became a Solver in 2014, serving a variety of different roles including Operations Guru, Manager of System Configuration, Client Operations Lead, Shared Services Team Lead, and Director of Shared Services before stepping away from Businessolver in 2020, boomeranging back in 2022. In her current role as a Strategic Advisor, Trinh partners with sales consultants to demo the Benefitsolver platform, works with product to identify sales opportunities, supports the RFP processes as well as operations during implementation, and conducts discovery sessions with prospects. Outside of work, Trinh is a mother of two that loves supporting local businesses in Des Moines, Iowa, is an avid for DEIB, and serves on the Board of Directors for No Matter What (mental health awareness & suicide prevention) and the Iowa International Center.

Sam became a Solver in 2017, bringing more than 20 years of professional benefits administration experience with him. Prior to joining Businessolver, Sam served as a sales leader at bswift, ConnectYourCare, and Aon. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from Towson University. In his current role as the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Sales, Sam leads the sales and solution process to ensure that Businessolver can meet the unique needs of each client.

Jeff Mortland
Jeff joined Businessolver in 2011 and has over 30 years of industry experience. Jeff has responsibility for several revenue lines as well corresponding customer success. He will work with your team and Businessolver teams to ensure a quality experience in our partnership. Jeff has many years of experience working with large, complex groups in finding the right technology and service solution for their benefits administration strategy. Jeff has worked in similar roles at ADP, HR XCEL, and Ceridian. His top strength is Achiever, meaning he is willing to take risks, meet new challenges, and deliver delight. Jeff received his degree in Business Administration from Indiana University of PA. He is based in Des Moines, Iowa.

Mike Zimmer

Brian Golden

Tim Schmitt
Tim joined Businessolver in 2016 as a seasoned sales consultant in the New England market. After collaborating with his colleagues to achieve their sales goals over his first four years with Businessolver, Tim transitioned into a leadership role in 2020. Tim believes in a team-selling approach and has experienced great success aligning organizations with service teams that suit their specific needs. Jill Worden
Jill became a Solver in 2022, bringing more than 15 years of experience in HCM and seven years of experience in benefits administration with her. In her current role as the VP of Sales Jill leads the sales and solutions process by supporting your sales consultant in aligning with our clients' goals and needs, navigating internal Solver resources, and ensuring our clients have the best possible Solver experience. Her favorite aspect of the role is having the opportunity to work with a wide range of people through internal and external business interactions. Outside of Businessolver, Jill is a wife and dog mom to two miniature schnauzers that enjoys sharing all her home, Napa, has to offer with friends and family.

Andy Rice
Andy joined Businessolver in 2015 and has held many roles including member services representative, operations analyst, and consultant. Liza became a Solver in 2019 where she served as a Senior Sales Consultant before transitioning into her current role as the Director of Channel Partnerships. Prior to Businessolver, Liza gained extensive sales experience working at SAP and ADP. In her current role, Liza is responsible for working with channel partners and internal sales consultants to help clients accomplish their ecosystem strategies as well as lower their overall healthcare cost. Her favorite aspect of the role is having the opportunity to work with clients to help them fulfill their benefits strategies through Businessolver’s ecosystem and advocacy partners. Outside of Businessolver, Liza enjoys spending time with her three kids cheering them on at their sports games.
