We have tailored the programme to different time zones to support academic professionals globally and to work around your schedule. Sessions will be hosted on Zoom and links to talks will be sent by email once you’ve registered for the conference.
Our speakers
Associate Professor Averil Coxhead is the Learning, Teaching and Equity Director at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
Joanna Szoke is a teacher, teacher trainer and content creator.
Jeanne Lambert has 20 years of ESL classroom, teacher training, and materials writing experience, specializing in academic writing and English for Academic Purposes.
Robyn Brinks Lockwood teaches courses in English listening, speaking, and writing, and has written numerous textbooks for writing, speaking, and listening English courses.
Professor Hisham AlSaghbini is Regional Assessment Services Manager at Cambridge University Press & Assessment.
Gaby Lawson has taught for over 20 years, working first as a secondary teacher then curriculum writer, director of studies, IELTS examiner and teacher developer.
James Dunn is an Associate Professor at Aichi University in Japan.
Colin Ward has been teaching ESOL for over 20 years and is also an ELT materials writer and teacher trainer.
Peter Lucantoni works as Professional Learning and Development Manager, Middle East and North Africa at Cambridge University Press & Assessment.

All our sessions are recorded and will be sent to you to watch a week after the event.
3. Do I need to attend every session?
You can choose to attend as many sessions as you like across the three days of the conference.
4. I haven’t received a link to the session I registered for. What should I do?
You may need to check your junk mail, as unfortunately some of our emails end up there.
5. Will the speaker presentation slides be shared with us before or after they are presented?
The speaker presentations will not be shared with attendees, but the recordings of each session will be sent to you the week after the event so you can view the presentation slides again.
6. Which sessions do I receive a certificate for?
For each session you watch, you’ll receive a certificate of attendance.
7. How do I get my certificate?
We will send you an email after the event with a link to download your certificates, plus access to all the recordings.
1. Does attending the event cost anything?
No, the event is completely free of charge. Explore the programme and book as many sessions as you like.
2. I missed a session. How can I watch it?

8. Why is my name not on the certificate?
As we have thousands attending our event it is impossible for us to put all your individual names on them. Don’t worry though, the certificates are editable so once you’ve downloaded them you can add your name in the area highlighted.
