A1 Movers Digital
Pre A1 Starters Digital
Introduction
Cambridge English Qualifications Digital for young learners take the new generation of young learners to digital fantasy worlds, to show their skills in English. Pre A1 Starters Digital and A1 Movers Digital give children their first taste of assessment in a way that amuses, motivates and rewards them throughout, setting the scene for their English language adventure.
Preparation is part of the journey
On the way to exam day there is plenty of material to support you as you prepare your young learners. The resources you may be familiar with for the paper-based tests will help develop their skills, alongside new material to familiarise them with the digital format.
These tests have been designed by experts in assessment and testing young learners, ensuring they test all four skills effectively, with enjoyment and positivity along the way. Aligned to the CEFR at Pre A1 and A1, they provide clear milestones, goals and next steps for young learners.
An experience built on expertise
Tasks test the same skills to the same level as our paper-based young learner exams. Some task types have been adapted for the digital format, while others are new to reflect the digital world young learners are growing up in, giving them a natural way to show their skills.
Natural for the new generation
The user-friendly nature of the tests, and personal headphones with volume control for each child, put young learners in control of their experience. This helps make them feel comfortable and equipped to complete tasks to the best of their ability.
Empowering for young explorers
Young learners start their adventure by building their own avatar. They then work their way along a map, collecting rewards after each task to add to their avatar. This means children begin the test experience with a fun activity to motivate them, then stay engaged throughout.
