Learning English requires a focus on many different skills, but from our research with both teachers and learners we know that students often measure their progress through their confidence and ability to speak spontaneously in the “real world.”
You spoke. We listened.
In response to this, we have ensured that EVOLVE is an integrated skills course with speaking at its heart.

Maximizing time for speaking
From our research, we know that teachers find it difficult to teach speaking and make time for it in the curriculum. Nevertheless, to improve their communicative competence, students need to take part in fluency-based, meaningful speaking activities.
The Time to speak lessons offer teachers the opportunity to create a safe speaking environment, and the teacher’s notes provide the support to help them do this.
Teachers discover the most effective ways to prepare students for communicative tasks, provide speaking feedback, and maximize the amount of speaking.
