Quality assurance
Recent research from the Wellcome Trust identifies three areas of quality assurance for you to consider. The INSPIRE principles which underpin our services can be mapped to these as follows:
Intent is about the intended impact of the professional development programme or activity.
1. Intent
Design considers how the programme or activity design achieves the intended impact, it should be needs-based, in-practice, reflective, collaborative and sustained.
2. Design
Delivery relates to the quality of the delivery, whether it is trainer-led or self-study, and evaluation is important here.
3. Delivery
To support you in assessing the quality of professional development activities, we’ve created this downloadable questionnaire to help when briefing and assessing training providers.
