Inspired by real young learners, Time to Fly celebrates the lives of children around the world and builds confidence by showing learners what they can achieve and why learning English matters. The stories in every unit of Time to Fly are adapted from original writing and drawings by real learners of English from around the world, ensuring the course speaks to children on their level – full of fun and imagination!

Each of the core units of Time to Fly features a review task in the style of the Cambridge English Qualifications Digital for young learners exams. There are also self-assessment opportunities in the Pupil’s and Activity Books to encourage learners to reflect on their progress and feel proud of their achievements. Each unit starts with a beautiful opening illustration (Levels 1-3), or a photo collage (Levels 4-6), to introduce learners to the target vocabulary.
Speaking activities feature in every lesson of the Pupil’s Book.
Animation and vlog videos present vocabulary and grammar in an engaging and playful way.
Talk Time videos feature real children giving pupils authentic models to follow.
Self-assessment activities help pupils assess their learning and boost confidence.
Levels 1-3 feature a story animation video.
All stories are inspired by the writing and drawings of real children from around the world.
Friend Time draws on values from the story for pupils to reflect on together.

Designed for seamless lesson planning, the Teacher’s Book provides one page of teaching notes for each page of the Pupil’s Book.
