EXULOCK◊ HYPER-ABSORBENT LOCK-AWAY LAYER
Absorbs and locks in exudate
and helps control wound
malodour.
UNIQUE SHAPES AND WIDE BORDERS
The unique quadrilobe heel and sacral shapes fit the contours of the human body securely.
EXUMASK◊ CHANGE INDICATOR
Minimizes the visual impact of absorbed exudate and works as an indicator as to when to change, which helps minimize unnecessary changes.

Exudate management
When compared to standard preventive care alone, the addition of ALLEVYN LIFE Dressings to a pressure injury prevention protocol has been shown in studies to:
• Significantly reduce sacral pressure injury incidence by 71% in elderly patients with hip fracture. *****
• Reduce overall costs by an estimated 38-69%.
Dressing can remain in place with strikethrough masked.

Clinical studies have demonstrated the benefits of switching to ALLEVYN LIFE Dressings:
• 1.48 fewer dressing changes per patient, per week*****
• 58.7% savings in mean weekly dressing costs*****
• Shown to provide good/high patient satisfaction through fewer dressing changes.

The soft silicone adhesive wound contact layer provides the optimal balance of adherence and gentleness, enabling the dressing to be lifted and repositioned on application and helping to minimise pain during dressing changes. The perforations enable exudate to pass up through into the foam layer.

The foam layer quickly absorbs exudate vertically and transfers it away from the wound and
peri-wound.

The hyper-absorber lock-away layer with EXULOCK◊ Technology absorbs exudate and spreads it laterally across the dressing to utilise the entire dressing area.
It locks in exudate helping to prevent leakage.

The EXUMASK◊ layer effectively minimizes visual impact of absorbed exudate. It also works as an indicator as to when to change the dressing, minimizing clinically unnecessary dressing changes.

The breathable top film allows evaporation of fluid reducing the volume of fluid in the dressing.
It also provides a moisture and bacterial barrier.
