Lee Richards – Head of Living Sectors has over 12 years’ experience in property, having previously worked at Orchard and Shipman Group as Managing Director. He joined Carter Jonas in September 2021 and heads up our Build to Rent and PRS offerings, utilising his experience of providing consultancy and management services across a wide range of BTR offerings, from having management responsibility for the UK’s largest BTR scheme at Wembley, advising high street names and investment funds, to introducing new styles of BTR offer to market. Lee is passionate about the opportunity for the BTR sector in the UK and has assisted new market entrants as well as advising on refining and growing existing offerings.

In 2020, Carter Jonas was appointed to provide lettings and management services on a Hearthstone portfolio of 113 new build residential properties across four sites in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, and Northamptonshire. Our role involved the full cycle of letting and management services, from marketing the properties and securing tenants on the best terms, to property management.

Carter Jonas has been appointed as letting and managing agent for the Granada House development in Southampton, delivering build-to-rent services for Inland Homes. Initially conceived as a build to sell development, Inland Homes trialled a small number of units within the Southampton lettings market as part of their aspiration to launch their own build to rent platform. Carter Jonas has successfully let all available homes within the second block of mixed accommodation, alongside the open market leasehold properties.
