Mark Granger
As we start to emerge and recover from our present circumstances, I expect politicians to pursue even-more intensely, longer-term ambitions, such as delivering net-zero by 2050, and the levelling up of our economy. In each example, and more widely, the property industry has a vital role to play and I have every confidence that our exceptionally talented people will be leading the way.
The UK housing market has never been busier, as pent-up demand from people planning a move is high. Now is the time to find the perfect buyer or tenant for your property.
The combination of a new agricultural policy, climate pressures and increased importance on sustainability and biodiversity mean that rural land management must adjust and take advantage of new opportunities.
Occupiers, driven by MEES, are demanding office space that meets increasingly high sustainability criteria. Additionally, in the current competitive labour market, providing a vibrant, attractive, and sustainable work environment is vital for the recruitment and retention of talent.
Our industry is currently undergoing considerable change as the Government has announced its aspirations for comprehensive planning reform, which should present significant opportunities for the development and wider property landscape.
Vision 2025:
Our business plan
This is a fantastic time to join the Carter Jonas team, we are focussed on developing people who have proved themselves in their role. We encourage and facilitate individual growth and progression, allowing the individual to develop their career with the business.
This is a positive time for Carter Jonas’ growth, with the organisation’s successful drive towards the achievement of our Vision 2025 business plan. Our firm sees great potential for further development, as people with new ideas and fresh thinking are brought in or rise up through the business.
Why work for us?
We know that, no matter how great a working environment we create, our people need to be well looked after. They need to feel comfortable and secure, with a benefits package that matches their contribution to the business. That’s why we’ve pulled together a comprehensive set of benefits.
Benefits
As an employer, Carter Jonas encourages everyone to continue their learning and development throughout their career with us to optimise their performance and fulfil their full potential. We’re proud to have achieved the Investors in People Gold Standard and will always strive to provide the best opportunities for our people.
Learning & development
Our people are the heart of our business. A happy, healthy, supportive workplace and a diverse and inclusive team are better for business and better for the communities that the built environment serves.
Diversity and inclusion are key components of the Carter Jonas vision, and are critical for the business to build its talent pipelines and remain competitive. By increasing diversity within our workforce, we will attract a greater number of talented people to our business, encourage better team collaboration, improve performance and customer satisfaction, increase retention rates and achieve greater success in new markets.

As the world’s most important asset class, property is a driver of both the overall economy and individual prosperity. Whilst our industry and many other key sectors continue to be impacted by macroeconomic forces, with further challenges to come, opportunities are there, but where we find them may have changed or evolved.
