Marketing Week Meets the CX50
Focused on customer experience and business performance, Tamara Strauss joined Premier Inn from Hilton Hotels & Resorts in 2019 and set about reappraising the brand from the ground up to focus on what matters to its customers - everything from pricing to in-room comfort. She also oversees the Premier Inn brand platform, ‘Rest Easy’, which has contributed to Premier Inn’s owner, Whitbread, returning to profit with a strong post-Covid recovery and improving business travel demand in the UK.
Tamara is one of Marketing Week's Top 100 marketers and was part of The Marketing Academy's 2022 Fellowship programme.

Roy leads the Digital Experience practice at Cognizant alongside running Zone, the award-winning UK customer experience agency, as CEO. He has been working in global marketing, technology and consultancy for over 20 years.
Roy previously set up and ran Digitas across Asia Pacific. The business quadrupled and expanded into six markets across 15 offices in three years. Key clients included Disney, Cathay Pacific, Nissan, Qantas and Unilever.
Before returning to the UK in 2019, Roy rebooted an Australian agency into a customer experience consultancy, winning multiple awards including Employer of Year.
