As a one-person team, Ron leads and implements the HubSpot for Startups brand and content strategy. He manages the writing and production of stories about HubSpot for Startups customers and partners, including video and social media content and the HubSpot for Startups blog.
Before Ron joined, the program mainly offered discounts on HubSpot services to qualified startups. It was limited to a landing page for these discounts, with less emphasis on creating engaging content or providing extra resources. With this goal in mind, Ron set out to expand the program, crafting more dynamic and visually appealing content to attract and engage startup founders.

Ron first came across Ceros while working at Frame.io, where he quickly found value in the platform’s features but couldn't use it due to budget issues. This experience left a lasting impression, making Ceros a natural choice when Ron needed a solution at HubSpot for Startups.

I wanted to create content that could still be on-brand for HubSpot but would have that rich media experience that when you encountered it, you would immediately notice it was different in how it was presented.

Ron started using Ceros to quickly and easily create full-page experiences, video headers, and animated text. With microcontent elements like video headers, he could enhance web pages with interactive or animated elements made in Ceros and embedded into the HubSpot CMS. This integration is available both for HubSpot’s internal marketing content and for HubSpot customers using the CMS to publish their content. Being able to create and customize content in real time, whether using templates or starting from scratch, gave him the freedom to make exactly the type of content he wanted.
One of the main benefits Ron found with Ceros was how cost-effective it was compared to traditional methods. This became clear when team members outside the Startups organization at HubSpot started taking notice.

For example, he used a customized case study template to add animations, zooming effects, and text work, combining video backgrounds with animated text. This made the content much more visually appealing and interactive.
Ceros’ seamless integration with HubSpot lets users access and style their HubSpot forms directly in Studio. This integration also allows users to embed HubSpot meeting links directly into Ceros experiences, making it easy to schedule meetings within marketing materials. Users with multiple HubSpot accounts can set up account-level and experience-level integrations. Additionally, users can create multiple pop-up forms for different topics, enabling topic-specific nurture campaigns.
