• Blue Planet’s specialized Services team provides support for continuous optimization of the network including new device onboarding and NOC monitoring, as well as fine-tuning of AI capabilities

• Leveraging its Path Computation Engine (PCE), ROA determines the best alternate IP service path that does not traverse the affected node or link. MDSO then reconfigures and/or provisions a new device in the optical domain to fix the failed node or link.

• Blue Planet MDSO and ROA respectively perform real-time discovery of packet-optical transport and IP service topologies, and communicates the end-to-end information and multi-layer dependencies to Blue Planet Unified Assurance and Analytics (UAA). • UAA collects faults, alarms, and performance metrics across optical and IP network domain devices, managers and controllers and stores them in a single data lake for consumption by UAA's AI-powered apps for continuous monitoring and analysis. • UAA’s AI-powered apps perform automated correlation of alarms and metrics across multiple domains and performs AI-assisted root-cause and customer impact analysis. It then prescribes policy-guided remediation actions to be carried out by MDSO and ROA, for building resiliency across the optical and IP domains.

• Blue Planet experts work with the customer to assess their service assurance challenges and provides guidance on the ideal solution for a multi-layer network environment. • Based on the recommended strategy, Blue Planet’s specialized services team installs and integrates customer’s networking infrastructure, existing OSS and management applications with Blue Planet’s software. The Blue Planet team then validates and certifies system functionality.
