Dentists who participate in Cigna’s network are independent contractors solely responsible for the treatment provided and are not agents of Cigna. 3. Exclusions and limitations apply. Out-of-network dentists can bill you for the difference between what Cigna pays for covered services and what their usual fee is. How to Choose a Primary Care Dentist

Search the DHMO Access Plus Network
When you enroll in the DHMO, you must select a dentist who participates in the plan network for covered services to apply. There may be exceptions for emergencies and where required by state law - refer to your plan documents or call Cigna at 877-505-5872 for more information. Once you've enrolled in the plan, you can choose a primary dentist through your myCigna.com account. Simply log on and follow the prompts to search for a dentist. You can search by location or name and within the results you can view information about each dentist's experience, read patient reviews and even see what languages they speak. You can also change your primary dentist on myCigna at any time through myCigna. If you have dependents enrolled on the plan, they can each choose a different primary dentist. Children under the age of 13 can choose a primary pediatric specialist. You may also call customer service to select a dentist. Our customer service representatives can answer questions about the dentists near you, such as where they went to school, how long they’ve been in practice and what languages they speak. Transfers to a different primary dentist may take up to five days to process and generally become effective on the first of the following month. If you’re diagnosed with a covered critical illness, your lump sum benefit can cover expenses like rent or transportation while you focus on getting well.
Critical Illness
You’ll get a fixed benefit after a qualified hospitalization. Use it for medical copays and deductibles, travel to see a specialist, child care, help around the house, alternative treatments and more.
Hospital Care
If a covered accident happens, you’ll get a fixed benefit to help with anything from rehabilitation to child care while you work your way back.

Where do I access my Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) on myCigna? 1. Log in or register on myCigna or the myCigna App 2. Click the “Coverage” tab 3. Select “Employee Assistance Program” What is a Fast Access provider? Fast Access providers offer Cigna customers first-time EAP appointments (counselor, social worker) within five business days. Most of these providers also offer virtual visits and will even coordinate care with your primary care provider (PCP) and other medical providers. Once I find a provider, how will I make an appointment? Many EAP providers lead their own independent practices and may not have office staff to take your call right away. Simply leave a voicemail clearly stating the information below and request a call back: 1. Your name, that you’re a Cigna EAP customer, and the reason for your call 2.
