Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among American women. As with many other types of cancer, you can lower your risk of getting breast cancer by making healthy lifestyle choices.
Regular breast self-exams, clinical breast exams performed by your doctor and regularly scheduled mammograms are important screening tools in breast cancer detection — especially for early detection, when cancers may be more treatable.
