The objective of this workshop is to present the best approach to invest in the bond markets and capture their opportunities in the current environment.
Workshop objective
As most developed market central banks start to consider removing extraordinary monetary accommodation, volatility is likely to rise in the future. Therefore investors need to take a more selective and flexible approach to investing in the fixed income universe. Edmond de Rothschild Fund Bond Allocation is an appropriate solution to meet these new market challenges. The fund takes an active approach to managing duration within a [-2 to +8yr] bracket, a big plus at a time of fast moving interest rate markets. The fund also strives for selecting the most attractive sectors in the fixed income space in order to maximise returns over risk, trough time.

WisdomTree was founded in 2006 with a passion for creating better ways to invest, being the first investment manager to weight by dividends. We have never accepted the status quo and we think our investors shouldn’t either.
Since then, our European business has grown in terms of our product set and AUM. In April 2018, we completed the acquisition of ETF Securities' exchange-traded commodities, currencies and short-and-leveraged business, including the world’s first gold ETP.
Today we’re the biggest independent ETP provider globally and offer one of the most innovative ranges of ETPs, covering commodities, currencies, equities and fixed income.
Adding value to investments is our passion and our reason for being. It’s what motivates us to challenge and innovate. As we grow, and we keep redefining investment strategies that enable investors to outperform cap-weighted indices and to diversify their portfolios beyond traditional asset classes.

In this workshop, we’ll highlight the drivers behind the growing cryptocurrency market and its institutional adoption, and we’ll discuss how WisdomTree is enabling investors to access this emerging asset class in an easy, transparent, secure and efficient way.
Workshop objective
Over the last decade, Bitcoin has proven its merits over time, leading the way for the further development of blockchain technology and the creation of numerous other cryptocurrencies. With growing adoption and acceptance, cryptocurrency has demonstrated it is not a passing trend and has real potential as its own asset class within investment portfolios. Whilst the demand is evident, many investors, particularly institutional ones, face difficulties to successfully access the product and bridge the gap between the underlying decentralised online blockchain technology and traditional investment structures.
This session will highlight:
• The drivers behind bitcoin and ether, the two largest digital assets
• Institutional adoption of cryptocurrencies
• The expected impact of adding bitcoin and/or ether to a portfolio

Although investing against climate change falls under the category of ESG, with so many approaches such as green bonds, low carbon footprint, clean energy, energy transition, etc. it makes its own league and it's growing so fast that funds and ETFs with climate change as a key theme almost tripled in 2020 to over $170 billion.
There are now hundreds of funds available with many more that will be launched, and fund selectors have been (and will be) challenged by the growing number available in the market and salient questions have arisen, such as: what are the main criteria for examining managers running climate change strategies? What’s the biggest challenge and what fund selectors should bear in mind when selecting these funds? But also, are fund managers running climate change strategies really able to build portfolios without penalizing returns?
As if this wasn't enough, climate change is not just a solitary investment theme, the value of global financial assets at risk from climate change has been estimated at several trillions worldwide and investors can no longer ignore the impact that the world’s changing climate will have on their portfolios as well as assess whether fund managers will be eventually stuck in stranded assets due to public and technological responses to climate change so should fund selectors revise their fund selection and stress-test their investment portfolios to paint a picture of exposure to stranded assets and consider the environmental characteristics of investments?
Our guests will drill down into these burning issues, sharing their views, experiences and best practices that will provide our audience with valuable insights to take back to the office and put into practice.
