Bits and Pieces Senior E-Commerce Manager - Marketing Lead
Senior E-Commerce Manager - Marketing Lead
With over 1000 products on the Amazon Marketplace, strategizing the product marketing as groups for the puzzles has created efficiency and increased sales. The new "lettered pieces" line is a great example of a product marketing strategy I led. Photo assets demonstrate how to use the lettered pieces. The copy is SEO optimized towards our targeted segment and also explains why the lettered pieces are useful. The new product line was a success and later expanded.
I revamped the Bits and Pieces Amazon store visually and with categories, and I also created display ads leading to the store. Product categories generated over $400,000 in a year and a half. Display ads have generated over $500,000 in a year in a half with a 10.8% ACoS and 9.4 ROAS.
Revitalized A+ content for multiple categories including seasonal puzzles. The 2023 Holiday season registered 15% more unit sales compared to the 2022 Holiday Season.

Nike - Air Force 1 EasyOn Shoes
Many kids, teens, and adults love Crocs because they are easy to slide on. Their look is distinctive. However, this is is not always in a good way. They would simply look goofy in many situations.
Video Spot: Sons of Anarchy Jax Teller from Sons of Anarchy was known for wearing all white Air Force 1s. If the character wore sandals or Crocs, that would likely be a moment of comic relief for the show. The show is a drama, and Jax is a serious character involved in balancing family duties with leading a biker gang. The Air Force 1s are integral to the character of Jax. A commercial with Jax needing to throw on a pair of shoes quickly and the differences in the scene between the Crocs and the Air Force EasyOns would be shown.
The tagline "The Shoes Make The Show" brings back the idea that shoes make a big impression. There is no need to substitute iconicness for convenience and comfort with Nike's EasyOn shoes.
Wheelchair users, especially those who are content creators, frequently receive troll comments along the lines of "why does a person using a wheelchair need to wear shoes?"
Video Spot: Disabled Rock Star The disability community has over $500 billion in disposable income in the US alone. They prioritize fun, style, success, and comfort like everyone else. This campaign would be a fun way to troll the trolls and market the product to a community who would value the increased ease of putting on the shoes. There is even a device called a shoe horn that the EasyOn would make unneccessary. In my lived experience with a physical disability, a shoe horn is another thing that I don't want to carry, and it takes out the use of one hand for balance. The EasyOn shoes are a perfect solution.

Challenge & Insight: Comfort and convenience make Crocs one of the fastest growing shoe brands.
My nutritionist recently recommended that I eat Cheerios. I realized that I hadn't thought about them in years and was surprised that they are actually considered nutritious for fiber and fortified nutritrients reasons. As Millenials age and seek to be more health-conscious, this is a great demographic to target with 90s themed packaging and ads because that could be the last time that they thought about Cheerios as well.

BS Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences
While my lack of fulfillment in the clinical work, and my love of creativity, ultimately led me to a career pivot, as described below I learned of transferable skills in this original pursuit. Some examples of my papers are at the very bottom of this page after the more creative work. Communication skills via Baptism by Fire In a course called Healthcare Communication, we were filmed interacting with actors who were acting as unruly pharmacy customers. We were graded on how well we educated the patient and actively listened to what they had to say. Pharmaceutical Advertising Laws and Ethics We dove into examples of pharmaceutical advertising with prescribed and OTC products, and discussed the pros and cons of pharmaceutical advertising in a course called The American Healthcare System. We learned best practices and regulatory violations. Research I took a course called Research Methods and Biostatistics which taught how to properly read a research paper, judge its quality, and explain the findings to others. Advanced Writing in the Health Professions I link to a folder at the bottom of the page from this course.

Create a University Plan
Calmerry offers virtual therapy on a subscription plan basis. They offer packages for businesses, but there is no mention of university specific plans. Many university health centers struggle to meet student needs, particulary for mental health. Since not all universities will opt in to this plan, a discount for college students with health-related majors could increase customers through word of mouth as the students work in the field with patients.

Social Distancing Side Project Travel with Meditation
Over 14,000 plays across all platforms: YouTube, Insight Timer, and various podcast platforms. The podcast includes inclusive language for disabled people (you never have to go down stairs!) and episodes tell you the location that you are going to. One of my biggest complaints with meditation recordings was that they frequently say "go to a relaxing place," and I sometimes wanted the relaxing place just described to me instead of having to create it myself.

Also attached is a link to an op-ed that I am hoping to get published soon.

But Now with 10 Fun facts
Me... Again
Hi, it'S
2. Some of my core values include being generous, working to make a difference, and finding humor whenever possible.
3. My dream job would be a full-time philanthropist. With my love of ideas, I would be ironically busier than ever if I ever won the lottery!
4. Causes that I care about: rare disease research and all things disability advocacy: accessibility, inclusion, and equity.
5. Organizations that I have volunteered for: Partners for Youth with Disabilities, the Undiagnosed Disease Network Foundation, Global Genes, and Boston Children's Hospital.
6. Some Water Cooler Topics that I am a lively participant in: Fantasy Football, March Madness, TV, Pop Culture, Disney Parks, and checking out the latest meme or video that made you laugh.
7. Yes, I just snuck in that I am a Disney Adult. I would describe myself as a mix between Edna Mode, Boo, and Forky.
8. I truly believe that there is an ABBA song for any occassion.
9. I enjoy learning how to use creative tools from cameras to Cricuts to new ways to edit videos. I made this website with Ceros, and I actually enjoyed the process!
10. From personal experience, I believe that the high school valedictorian curse is real, but it's more of a result of shared traits than a real curse. However, through personal introspection, I have been able to find the best path for me - the one that I am on now!
1. On a recent CliftonStrengths Assessment, ideation emerged as my top theme.

MBA Project: Evaluating Forecasting Methods with Sales Data
Like many people in 2020, I became a crafting fiend. Eventually, I ran out of people to give gifts to, so my friend and I started an Etsy shop and tried out a few craft fairs. While I only dust off the Cricut for special occasions now, I learned a lot about e-commerce, copywriting, and customer service through this venture!

Travel with Meditation Podcast
Another pandemic project! My friend is the host since she is a yoga instructor. We aimed to make meditation easier by providing the place and incorporating inclusive language. I was tired of recordings telling me to go up or down stairs! I produced one season spanning 14 episodes. To date, the podcast has over 14,000 views across all platforms. I learned a lot about scriptwriting, audio editing, and podcast production with this venture!

I took Google's UX Design Certificate program because I am passionate about accessibilty and I appreciate great design. My strengths in the field of user experience lie in the research, accessibility, and wireframing components. With that being said, I am including my prototypes, but I would leave the actual "making it pretty" part to the professional designers!
