The mission of the Black Resource Group's (BRG) is to ensure that Clayco provides equal opportunity for all employees. This includes ensuring that Black employees are embraced and feel safe in their workspace, and that the workplace is inclusive, equitable, and offers a shared sense of belonging.
In the Community
Thank you to Clayco's Black Resource Group and our local team for donating school supplies and volunteering to hand out assembled backpacks to students at Grannemann Elementary School in St. Louis! We raised over $3,000, plus school supply donations! The BRG attended the Back to School Night to distribute 500+ kits to help prepare kids for the new year and share information about job opportunities and internship programs with students' families.

Clayco Black Resource Group (BRG) volunteered at Clayco's booth at the Urban Expo! It was a great event where Clayco hosted a Construction Corner to draw attention and interest to opportunities in the skilled trades for teens and adults. Thank you to Clayco BRG for volunteering and supporting this "Back to School" community festival!
2024 Urban Expo
It's Back-To-School time and our Black Resource Group (BRG) in Chicago attended Chicago State University's (CSU) Welcome Week Resource Fair! The BRG had a great day gifting toiletry bags to students and discussing the opportunities at Clayco. Clayco wishes all students a happy return to campus!

Clayco's Black Resource Group (BRG) hosted TD4 Electrical's President Tommy Davis III in our St. Louis office. Tommy discussed the successes and pain points of being a minority specialty contractor. He also shared his secrets to success and optimal job requirements and conditions. TD4 is a strategic partner with Clayco, and we are proud to have them as partners. TD4 was founded in 2006 by President Tommy L. Davis, Jr. and provides high-quality electrical contracting services to the St. Louis region.
