Polished Pebbles, an Illinois Gold Star rated mentoring program, is a Chicago-based mentoring initiative that increases the communication skills and employ-ability of young women for the future workplace. Polished Pebbles helps girls ages 7-17 become effective communicators at home, school, and their future careers.
Boys 2 Mentorr
Boys 2 Mentorr is a mentoring program that will teach a young man everything from financial literacy to conflict resolution to how to tie a tie. We will touch everything from mathematics to mental health. This is a grass roots effort to change the narrative being written by society and make it a successful autobiography, one child at a time.
Urban Golf of Greater St. Louis
Preparing youth in Urban St. Louis to be successful beyond high school, and expose them to the vast golf community.
We seek to fulfill a greater need for representation of young Black leadership as well as a strategic plan to grow the game of golf in urban areas in St. Louis and beyond.
Chicago Scholars is the largest college access and success program in Chicago serving more than 5,000 Scholars and Alumni each year in our seven-year mentoring and career support program. Committed to moving the dial for Chicago’s youth, the organization works to develop deep collaborations with community-based organizations and has a national network of more than 190 selective enrollment and ivy league college and university partners.
Sankofa Unity Center
The Sankofa Unity Center was founded by Darren Seals and provides a safe haven for members of the community who are looking to turn away from destructive lifestyles to find a better path. Our focus to help the community and restore young men and women to innate greatness and activate their potential through training and mentorship.
Aerostar Avion Institute
AeroStar’s programs exist with the vision to enhance, promote and support the academic awareness of aviation and aeronautical career path opportunities for students, particularly female, minority, underprivileged and at-risk youth. By providing aviation academic curriculum development, programs, activities, and support services for youth Grades K-12, interested in STEM, AeroStar has paved the way for the future of their industry.
