The Clayco Foundation is a non-profit entity that supports multiple charitable organizations in the communities where Clayco is actively engaged in business. Its focus is to genuinely leave a positive impact on our world. The Clayco Foundation formed the Juneteenth Program and advisory committee to assist the foundation in its solicitation and investment in education, awareness, and causes related to promoting anti-racism.
About our program
Celebrated on June 19th, Juneteenth is the day in which we commemorate the emancipation of the last enslaved people of the United States. On this day in 1865, Texas outlawed slavery, effectively marking an end to this horrendous practice.
On Juneteenth, we look back and recognize the sacrifices and successes of the Black community.
As we recognize and confront our collective past, we move on to a more just, equitable and brighter future.
