26 Years in the Design Industry
Growing up, my family lived in a 150 year old historic home. It was always in need of repair, updating, and quite frankly a new layout. My brain was consumed with this and helping my parents to make smart decisions on what to invest in to keep it updated and standing strong. Just last year, we raised this house up 12’ in the air and put a brand new foundation under it. The Home is standing stronger than ever.
What is an accomplishment, milestone, or obstacle that influenced you in your career?
What attracted you to the A/E/C industry?
In 2020, I was recognized as one of the top 20 Women in Construction
by CNR St. Louis. I was among an amazing class of women, yet nobody
got to celebrate this achievement together as the pandemic hit and we all
stayed away from one another for the next 9 months. This recognition did help me to understand the influence I have on the industry, especially in St. Louis, and that my hard work to build our Higher Education practice at LJC was finally getting noticed. Since that time, our Higher Education team has received 11 project wins within the St. Louis region working for some of the most prestigious universities in the nation.
