Inclusive Project Delivery Process
The Clayco approach is to make the bid packages simple to maximize the number of qualified bidders. This may involve national, regional, and local bidders for the appropriate packages, but we emphasize local subcontractors first. As the packages are developed, strategies for WBE and MBE companies are aligned with open opportunities for these subcontractors.
Field Focus
Innovative jobsite mentoring program for minorities and women aspiring to be leaders in their respective trades. We team these individuals with Clayco field leadership to remove barriers that exist when relationships are underdeveloped/non-existent.
Women in Construction
Our mission is to increase female leadership in the design, construction and real estate development industry. We connect, enable, and engage with women and communities across all areas of the industry to develop, impact and transform the culture from the inside out by investing in women. Our guiding goals are to provide an environment that creates the opportunity for real connections that empower women both personally and professionally.
Future Leaders Fellowship
The Future Leaders Fellowship will support and cultivate future arts leaders and administrators from backgrounds historically underrepresented in opera and arts administration, particularly those who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Person of Color). Opera Theatre’s Clayco Future Leaders Fellowship Program will provide in-depth experiences that advance the skills, knowledge, and capabilities that make these careers possible. CCDI involves connecting youth in underserved communities with career opportunities to meet the unique needs of the industry. Clayco is a major player in local workforce development initiatives targeting those underrepresented or unemployed seeking to transition into building trades.

PIVOT focuses on the unique needs of the construction industry and offers an industry-driven solution to grow MBE revenue within construction industry, increase number of MBE firms within construction industry, and creates a more accurate, reliable tracking method of MBE participation using 100% of the delivery costs in calculation.
