Our Impact
We are all about driving real, meaningful change from the ground up. Developing equitable opportunities, building relationships and insisting on accountability are what makes this program so successful. This includes participating in workforce development initiatives, having a fair, merit-based bid solicitation process, offering minority youth mentorships, utilizing our charitable foundation, promoting community engagement and so much more.
clayco supported organizations and initiatives
connecting
The Clayco culture rests on building more than structures. We partner with the communities in which we operate and we’re in it for the long haul. We give our time, energy and resources to projects and non-profit organizations at the heart of our communities. It is, and will always be, an important part of our identity.
We’re working with philanthropies to support education, the arts, medical research, disaster relief, and opportunities for minorities, youth and the underprivileged. Our people volunteer their time and expertise and provide financial support to many of the organizations and programs within this report as well as many more. We encourage and are encouraged by the spirit of our people as they, and Clayco, engage in and with our community.
Success stories
“I feel like I'm paving the way for others. That's the impact that I think I'm having on others. Not just women asking me about construction, men twice my age coming to me for guidance on how to get in or what to do."

"Being a part of the CCDI program changed my life. I had the opportunity to job shadow, complete a summer internship, network with industry leaders and ultimately start my career in the painting trades. With the help of my mentors, I have achieved my goal to be a minority business owner and help to influence those in my community about careers in construction."

"The CCDI scholarship has played an instrumental role in propelling my life forward, helping me achieve remarkable progress and growth. The assistance I received eased the burden of work and school with the help of my mentor. Allowing me to fully focus on my studies and excel. Everyone involved served as a source of encouragement for me, affirming my potential, and motivating me to strive for excellence."
