Donovan Mitchell
Season Averages
"Donovan Mitchell is the best player on the team with the best record... because they're doing so well and they're at a start that nobody expected him to be at, you got to put him in the this (MVP) conversation... He's leading that young group not only with his numbers, but just by his energy and what he's talking in the locker room and getting them to mature."

"One of the toughest matchups in this league is Donovan Mitchell, obviously with his ability to score at all three levels, from the 3-point line, from the midrange, getting into the paint."
LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers Forward
Danny Green, former NBA player
"You know, I think the Cavs proved that they're real. I think they proved that they have star quality on their team. Donovan Mitchell, he's been killing it all year. He’s been doing it for a very long time…I don’t think Donovan Mitchell is getting the due he deserves... I think he should be mentioned with the top guys in this league and I think he's showing why."
Michael Carter-Williams, NBA TV Analyst and Former NBA Player
"Donovan Mitchell is the reason this thing has turned around... You know you give a lot of credit to Kenny Atkinson but at the end of the day somebody's got to go out there and they got to execute your plan and Donovan Mitchell has been able to do that. He's been the head of the snake in the Cleveland Cavaliers and their success"
Lou Williams, former NBA player
"Best record in the NBA, looking like a true title contender, he’s looking like a true leader and if we know anyone, Donovan Mitchell has the capability of taking over the game at any given time, especially with the pieces he has around him."
Kendrick Perkins, ESPN Analyst and former NBA player
"He’s very strong, he has a good base and he can create a lot of space where he step backs and his movements when he rises up, like
once he gets going, it's you know, it's tough."
Kristaps Porzingis, Boston Celtics Center

"They're a good team. They're number one in the East for a reason. They got the best record for a reason. They're a good team, right, and they got the two towers down there (Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen), and how well Donovan and Darius are playing, they make it a tough matchup."
Paul George, Philadelphia 76ers Forward
"They've been together for 2 years now, Donovan, DG, Mobley and Jarrett, like all them, they've been there, so they kind of know what their roles are and they're kind of clicking right now. So it's a tough team to play, tough team to beat."
