HEAD OF THE CLASS
Do you know a teacher who is truly at the Head of the Class?!
Head of the Class recognizes educators in Northeast Ohio for making a difference in their students’ lives both inside and outside the classroom. Head of the Class educators must work to ensure the academic success of their students, be involved in their school and local communities, and set an example for students and educators alike. Winning teachers will receive a memorable experience at a Cavs game and $500 gift card to use towards classroom needs.
PROVIDED by THE CAVALIERS

The free program targets grades 3-8 across in-school, out-of-school, and home learning environments. Educators can feel confident in knowing that there are program features that fit into any learning environment. Students draft a team of NBA and WNBA players, and compete individually or in teams of two to solve quick math problems and score points. Gameplay simulates the game of basketball as teams switch from offense to defense in a fast-paced, timed setting.
