Moondog has a unique connection not just to the Cavaliers, but to all of Cleveland. Cleveland is known worldwide as the Rock & Roll city. Famed Cleveland radio disc-jockey Alan Freed coined the phrase "Rock & Roll" and sparked a music explosion in the 1950's. Freed often referred to himself as the "Moondog" and his listeners as the "Moondoggers".
Alan Freed was innovative, fun-loving, passionate and controversial.
Moondog promises to be the same.

To unleash the Moondog at your event, please complete the form below. Requests should be received by our office at least three weeks prior to your deadline for confirmation. After we have reviewed your request and our availability a Cavalier's representative will reply in regards to Moondog's availability and the appearance fee information.

Moondog's primary focus is on Charity and cause-related Walks and Runs. These events are given scheduling priority.
In most cases, we do not accept appearances with less than 7 days advance notice.
For best results, requests for appearance should be submitted with 4-8 weeks notice.
One of the other mascots may be able to attend. You can read more about each mascot on their official team page. Each mascot has their own primary focus, fees and schedule. Please see their website for more information and booking details.
For private events and some public events the Cavaliers charge a mascot appearance fee. Moondog apperance fees start at $500 per hour and will be determined pending availability.

Unleash the dog at your next event!
Moondog adds entertainment, photos and fun in a variety of settings. We keep the performance window tight at 30 minutes, sometimes less for smaller gatherings. Appearances include interactive photos with guests which are posted with free downloads at MoondogPhotos.com.
Moondog is not available on Cavalier Home Game dates. As a huge international superstar he needs (aka demands) a private dressing room (not a bathroom) for all events.
