Through meaningful community engagement, Reggie will help create safe, supportive spaces that champion mental health, celebrate diversity, and uplift shelter animals in need—bringing warmth, connection, and Cavaliers spirit everywhere he goes.
Reggie, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Puppy with a Purpose®, is on a mission to bring hope, healing, and heart to the Cleveland community. As a future service dog with America’s VetDogs, Reggie represents the strength, resilience, and compassion that define our city. From neighborhood visits to courtside cuddles, he’s here to uplift, unite, and inspire—proving that even the smallest teammate can make a big impact.

The service dog programs of America’s VetDogs® were created to provide enhanced mobility and renewed independence to United States veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders with disabilities, allowing them to once again live with pride and self-reliance. Not only does a service dog provide support with daily activities, it provides the motivation to tackle everyday challenges.
