Thanks for the interest in having the Scream Team appear at your event! Please read info below then complete and submit the Appearance Request Form that proceeds.
A standard Meet/Greet Appearance may include meeting and greeting, signing autographs, and taking photos. Please voice any ideas that you have for the team members’ participation in your event and we’ll try as best as we can to tailor their involvement.
A standard Performance Appearance includes a performance
(1.5 – 5 minute routine), meet/greet, autograph signing and photo opportunities. Performances can also be tailored to what you are looking to have at your event.

AUDITIONS
CALLING ALL HIP HOP DANCERS!
The Cavaliers Scream Team is a dance crew of animated, street-style hip-hop dancers known for
their gravity-defying break-dance stunts, head spins and impressive moves. They are energetic
dancers with the unmatched ability to hype up the fans, on the court and in the community.
All candidates must be 18 years of age or older by August 1st, 2025
All candidates will be asked to demonstrate dance, performance and speaking skills.
Candidates must be willing to devote a large percentage of their time to the Scream Team program, including team practices twice a week, all Cavs home games, community/charitable events and special projects in the Cleveland area.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AUDITIONS
AUDITION PROCESS - ROUND 1 - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
ROUND 1 will be VIDEO SUBMISSIONS ONLY.
Your video submission should be between 30-60 seconds and highlight your individual hip hop skills (for example: breakdancing, pop/lock, krumping, etc), strengths and/or style whether it be choreography or freestyling.
Music must be clean (no profanity or inappropriate content).
One video submission per applicant.
Videos must be submitted by midnight on Thursday, July 10th. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Finalists will be notified via email by 5pm on Friday, July 18th.
AUDITION PROCESS – FINALS (INVITATION ONLY)
FINALS WILL TAKE PLACE IN PERSON ON THURSDAY, JULY 31st by INVITE ONLY
You must be present at Finals to complete your audition.
Prepare to learn hip-hop style choreography and perform it in front of the judges panel that same day.
There will be an interview portion of this audition.
NO SPECTATORS WILL BE PERMITTED AT FINALS
