The Cavaliers selected Terrell Brandon as the 11th overall pick in the 1991 NBA Draft. His professional career has taken him to three cities (Cleveland, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis) and his best play came as a Cavalier where he earned two NBA All-Star selections.
However, some of Brandon's most impressive stats may be seen off the court. He won the 1997 NBA Sportsmanship Award for his devotion to children, and his Portland-based foundation provides numerous services to underprivileged youth in his hometown.

Mike Mitchell was drafted with the 15th pick in the first round of the 1978 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He averaged nearly 20 points in three and a half years with the Wine and Gold before playing his final six-plus seasons with the San Antonio Spurs.
Mitchell, who competed in the 1981 NBA All-Star Game at Richfield Coliseum, was known for his mid-range jump shot and ability to play well under pressure in the postseason. Following his playing career, Mitchell worked as a counselor for at-risk youth in San Antonio. He passed away in 2011 at the age of 55.

Jim Chones played in 400 games over five seasons for the Cavaliers, averaging 14.3 points and 9.5 rebounds per game and was a vital part of the Miracle of Richfield team. Cleveland reached their first-ever Eastern Conference finals in Chones’ second season.
Following his tenure in Cleveland, he played for the Los Angeles Lakers, where he won an NBA Champion in 1979. After retiring in 1982, Chones spent 10 seasons as a television color analyst for the Cavs. He later joined the Cavs’ radio broadcast team in 2010.

Chuck Broski of Willoughby Hills is the crew chief in charge of the Cavaliers stats crew and has been with the organization since their inaugural season in 1970. He has worked as a team statistician for over 2,200 Cavaliers home games, including the Miracle of Richfield season, five NBA Finals, and the 2016 NBA Championship.
Broski also served on the stat crew during three NBA All-Star Games in Cleveland (1981, 1997, 2022).

In a special ceremony that will take place on Sunday, March 10th at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, the Cleveland Cavaliers will memorialize four individuals who played pivotal roles in shaping the history of the franchise. Honor Class of 2024.
