PEP ASSEMBLY

Cavs Academy, the official youth basketball program of the Cleveland Cavaliers, can run a pep assembly at your school! Cavs Academy coaches will come to your gymnasium and lead students through skills & drills that teach the FUNdamentals of basketball.

The Cavs Youth Sports team serves to inspire play by using the game of basketball to motivate the youth in our community to be active, make championship choices on and off the court, and build confidence in what they can accomplish through sport. Ages 4-14, and across a variety of programming including Cavalittles Clinics, Cavs Academy camps and clinics, Jr. Cavs community rec leagues, and the Cavs Elite High School Hoops series at Rocket Arena.

Sports are more than a game – they’re a powerful platform for every young athlete’s growth. For girls, sports build confidence, support mental and emotional well-being, and cultivate teamwork and leadership that carry into school and future careers. All Girls programs offer a supportive, empowering space for ages 8–14 to develop basketball skills, strong friendships, and confidence of self in a girl-centered environment away from co-ed settings.

Cavalittles programs are designed to teach young athletes how to dribble, shoot, pass and move with and without the ball. Our goal is to acclimate your child to spending time on the court and introduce the FUN of playing team sports. They’ll develop their physical agility and coordination, learn the importance of teamwork and following directions, and gain confidence and new friends through our on-court programming.

Includes: T-shirt and two(2) Loudville tickets to a select 2025-26 Cavs home game.

Introduce your young athlete to the game, advance their skills on the hardwood, or just get in a fun workout with their friends. Open to all skill levels for ages 8-14, Cavs Academy camps will take your youth through a series of dynamic warm ups, skills and drills training, and small-group game play. Led by our Cavs Academy coaching staff, your athlete will have the time of their life and walk away with a new-found love for the game of basketball.

Jr. Cavs partner programs span the region, with leagues in more than 100 local communities. Most leagues run for eight weeks, feature coed teams for ages 4–12, and are scheduled in the fall and winter season, typically from October through March. These neighborhood-based programs operate out of community hubs like parks and recreation departments, YMCAs, and similar facilities to keep basketball convenient and accessible for families.

Cavs Academy Overtime brings kids together after school for four weeks of fun, fitness, and hoops. With expert coaches and a focus on teamwork and confidence, players grow stronger — on and off the court.

Designed for players ages 10–14 with some prior basketball experience. Mark Price Camps provide athletes the chance to sharpen their game under the guidance of one of the best shooters in NBA history. These summer sessions focus on shooting mechanics, footwork, ball-handling, and decision-making through high-rep drills and competitive game situations. Campers learn pro-level details directly inspired by Mark Price’s legendary skill set, while building confidence, work ethic, and court IQ in a positive, high-energy environment.
