The key to
summer meals? It’s a little meal prep! Once or twice a week, prepare some protein (grilled chicken breasts, lean beef with taco seasonings, burgers, chicken sausages, hard-boiled eggs). Then, use them in these meal ideas:
Grilled chicken + steamed veggies.
If you’re really short on time, picking up a rotisserie chicken is an easy shortcut!

Turkey (or salmon, veggie) burgers + side salad.
No time to prep fresh? Frozen ones can be grilled or cooked on the stovetop easily.

Chicken sausage + frozen veggies.
Slice pre-cooked sausages and sauté in olive oil with frozen veggies.

Taco bowls.
Brown ground turkey with taco seasoning. Add steamed broccoli (and/or cooked sweet potato chunks), with cheese and salsa to top.

Caprese salad.
That’s pretty much layering sliced tomatoes with mozzarella and basil leaves.
