Your donation will empower forward thinking.
Much has changed since Cleveland Clinic was founded more than a century ago. Nonetheless, when you look back on our history of advances in care, research and education, you’ll find a common through line: innovation. It’s one of our core values.
Many major medical breakthroughs have originated here, ranging from the first coronary angiography to the first near-total face transplant to the first use of deep brain stimulation for stroke recovery. We reinvented patient care based on an integrated delivery model that allows us to bring innovative discoveries to patients faster, and our caregivers continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in healthcare.
Your donation will build upon a legacy of innovation.
Cleveland Clinic employees have more promising ideas than we currently have funding to pursue. We’re working with a community of venture philanthropists to shape the future with us. Every dollar from every donor means more big ideas that will lead to transformative impact. Will you join us?

Autism Eyes is a Cleveland Clinic—developed diagnostic platform that uses eye-tracking technology and AI to deliver a rapid, objective assessment of autism risk in children. In just 7 minutes, it produces clinically validated scores that support faster, earlier diagnoses — replacing subjective, resource-heavy evaluations that can take months. Autism Eyes offers a powerful solution to an urgent problem, unlocking earlier access to intervention and improved long-term outcomes.
In 2024, Autism Eyes was acquired by Floreo, a virtual reality therapy company supporting children with neurodiverse needs. By integrating the diagnostic precision of Autism Eyes with Floreo’s immersive, evidence-based therapy modules, the combined platform delivers an end-to-end experience — from rapid risk detection to real-world skill-building. It’s a bold new approach to autism care, designed for scale, speed, and measurable impact.

Each year, hundreds of thousands of stroke survivors are left with debilitating arm and hand weakness, with limited options for recovery beyond standard physical therapy. Enspire DBS Therapy is changing that trajectory. Its approach combines deep brain stimulation (DBS) with rehabilitation to help restore motor function in patients with post-stroke hemiparesis.
By stimulating the cerebellar dentate nucleus — an area that connects to motor and premotor regions — this therapy promotes neuroplasticity and enhances the effects of rehab. Early clinical results published in Nature Medicine show promising gains in motor function.
The company is now enrolling patients in the RESTORE Stroke Study, a pivotal clinical trial to evaluate efficacy at scale.

Minimally invasive procedures save lives — but they come with hidden risks. Fluoroscopy, the standard imaging technique used during many vascular surgeries, exposes patients and care teams to harmful radiation and toxic contrast dyes, all while delivering grainy, 2D visuals.
Centerline Biomedical, a Cleveland Clinic spin-off, has developed the Intra-Operative Positioning System (IOPS), a next-generation navigation platform that replaces fluoroscopy with vibrant, high-precision 3D visualization — reducing radiation exposure, improving surgical accuracy and shortening procedure times. Powered by electromagnetic navigation, IOPS has received multiple FDA clearances and is already being used by leading healthcare centers.
With strategic investments from GE Healthcare and others, Centerline Biomedical is transforming surgical guidance and raising the standard of care.
