This case involved a life changing spinal cord injury. The parties agreed at the outset to comply with The Serious Injury Guide. This puts the Claimant at the centre of the process. It encourages positive collaborative behaviour from both sides. The Claimant received early access to rehabilitation which was critical to maximise his recovery. The claim was resolved in a cost appropriate and proportionate manner and resolved in an appropriate timeframe.
