Our experts designed and deployed an advanced solution coupling an automated workflow with machine learning, OCR, ICR and ADR capabilities.
This enabled unprecedented speed and accuracy in handling semi- and unstructured data and drove automatic classification of incoming OE documents.
Our solution was tightly integrated via APIs with our client’s upstream enrollment systems providing a fully integrated, end-to-end process.
Enhanced automation simplified the process; reducing training and staffing requirements.
This mega health plan is a leader in Medicare open enrollment with >78% of applications still submitted via handwritten documents.
Handling these documents was a manual process due to existing system and OCR limitations that prevented semi- and unstructured information from being read.
The health plan looked to us to innovate new technology solutions that would infuse automation and reduce manual requirements.
The goal was to significantly accelerate open enrollment processing and reduce costs.

The number of fields extracted by the machine with a high level of confidence and therefore require no manual intervention downstream. May also be measured at the page or document level.

Similar to STP, the number of fields that are extracted with a high level of confidence by the machine and in adherence to the configured target accuracy level.
Automation Rate:
The number of fields extracted by the machine and the associated accuracy of those extracted values as a result of QA review.
