With more than thirty-five years of experience in developing products and processes for cleanroom as well as industrial applications, Dave Nobile is a key technical resource in contamination control for the pharmaceutical, biomedical, microelectronic, disk drive, aerospace, and other critical manufacturing industries. He is the Technical Vice President for Contamination Control on the 2019-2020 IEST Executive Board. Mr. Nobile has conducted numerous seminars and presentations, including “Wiping Theory and Techniques”, “Cleaning the Cleanroom”, and “The True Value of Presats”. He is currently chairman of the IEST Working Group to revise the IEST RP-CC-004 test methods “Evaluation of Wipers Used in Cleanrooms and Other Controlled Environments”. He is past chairman of the IEST working group to develop test methods for cleanroom swabs.
Pier de Jong has more than 25 years’ experience in the contamination control industry, supporting the pharmaceutical, biomedical, microelectronic and other critical manufacturing industries. He has over thirty years’ experience in developing innovative products to meet the continuously changing needs of the cleanroom market. In addition, he has been extensively involved in supporting and training personnel in the cleanroom and critical manufacturing industries. Pier is an active member of the PDA and IEST Associations. He has been part of the Working Group 004 to revise the IEST RP-004 test methods “Evaluation of Wipers Used in Cleanrooms and Other Controlled Environments”. Previously, he was the Senior Product Manager and Technical Services Manager at Contec Inc and was the Business Segment Leader at DuPont. He holds a Bachelors of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Chip Burnett is a Technical Service Engineer at Contec, Inc. He has more than 24 years’ experience in product application and engineering for cleanroom environments and specializes in personnel training. Chip has focused on Cleanroom construction and the protocols associated with a “Build Clean” process. Extensive international experience in Europe, Asia and South America has given him a well rounded view of how multiple industries address cleanroom challenges. Chip has been a featured speaker at multiple Cleanroom Trade Shows covering a variety of subjects related to Environmental Monitoring and maintenance of Sterile and Non-Sterile Cleanrooms. While working in Research and Development at Contec, Chip developed multiple patented mop systems that have driven growth within Contec’s Cleanroom product offerings. Chip was also Product Manager for the Cleanroom division of Contec prior to working with Technical Service / Research and Development. Burnett was previously a professional trainer with the South Carolina State Board for Technical and Comprehensive Education. There, he worked for two years setting up BMW’s North American Manufacturing plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Chip received his BBA in business administration from North Georgia College with a double major in Marketing and Finance.
Renee Morley is a Senior Technical Services Specialist for Contec, Inc. providing expertise and evaluation regarding industry best-practices and technical applications of disinfectants solutions, wipers, and mops for use in cleanroom and other controlled environments. She has over fourteenyears of experience leading training on contamination control in cleanrooms and providing technical support related to critical environments, process research cleaners, and cleaning validation. Ms. Morley is a valuable resource in the areas of site evaluations, training and technical presentations, and educational seminars. Ms. Morley is currently the President of the Parenteral Drug Association’s Southeast Chapter (PDASE). In 2018, Renee was the PDA Volunteer Spotlight. Renee has also spoken at Life Science industry events including the Inaugural Women in Life Science’s Conference held in Austin, Texas in 2018 and led a workshop on networking.
K. Mark Wiencek, PhD, is the Lead Microbiologist for Contec, Inc. and leads the technical service group for pharmacy, healthcare and professional cleaning. Mark has been hunting and killing germs for over twenty-five years. He received a MS in Microbiology from NCSU and a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Maryland. Since then, he has focused on control of microbes and biofilms in multiple applications including water treatment, consumer textiles, medical devices, and environmental surfaces in the built environment. Previous industrial experience with the biocides group at Rohm and Haas Company and as the lead microbiologist at Milliken & Company for 18 years. In early 2017, Mark joined the technical team at Contec to support cleaning tools and chemistries for control of microbial contamination in pharmacies, healthcare facilities and other critical environments.
