Amid the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, Redline Plastics made a daring choice: to expand instead of retreat. What started as a small cut-and-sew operation has transformed into an industry leader in rotational molding, earning the 2024 Plastics News Processor of the Year award.

In addition to the Processor of the Year awards, Plastics News also honored Tessy Plastics Corp., an Skaneateles, N.Y. -based injection molder and contract manufacturer, with the Sustained Excellence Award.
Since being named Processor of the Year in 2000, Tessy has evolved from a diverse molder serving Xerox and Ericsson to a leader in medical, pharmaceutical and health care manufacturing.

Processor of the Year is the most prestigious honor in the North American plastics processing sector. PN has given out the award annually since 1996. As the winner, Redline Plastics LLC received the Bregar Trophy, named in honor of Bill Bregar, the Plastics News senior reporter who coordinated the awards for many years.
The Processor of the Year competition is open to all companies engaged in North American plastics processing for at least the past five years.
The award is sponsored by Nashua, N.H.-based Routsis Training LLC.
