Your motto is: “Waste not, want not”! You’re an early adopter who’s ready to embrace the future. (Now, where’s that flying car they’ve been promising since 1955?) “Power-to-x” techniques convert and store extra renewable electricity produced from solar or wind resources that would otherwise be wasted. These processes can be used to create drop-in alternatives to other fuels, potentially powering everything from remote-controlled (RC) aircraft and dirt bikes to cars, monster trucks, boats, planes and even rockets. POWER-TO-X
You’re inspired and empowered by the natural world! You’re riding on the wind, the waves and even the sun, capturing their infinitely renewable energy to speed down the road to a more sustainable future. Sunlight, wind, water and more can all be tapped into electricity generation. What’s great about these energy resources is that they’re endless: there will always be wind in the air and waves in the ocean, regardless of what we do. These forms of energy can be found all around us, and we’re just beginning to explore how we can use them as renewable alternatives to fossil fuels. Organizations around the globe are beginning to explore fully electric fleet options, with school systems, public transit and postal delivery leading the way. Renewable Electricity
RENEWABLE ELECTRICITY
You’re the ultimate over-achiever. Reducing your own waste isn’t enough — you’re finding new ways to use stuff that other people throw away! RNG is manufactured primarily using methane (CH4) that comes from the decomposition of organic waste, such as landfill gas, methane captured from wastewater treatment facilities or agricultural by-products. Capturing those gases prevents them from entering the atmosphere and can even drop the carbon intensity below zero, depending on the feedstock used. RNG engines deliver the lowest total emissions currently available for trucks, school and transit buses, as well as vocational applications like construction and delivery vehicles. You’re a seasoned road warrior who wants to play well with the planet while maintaining the power of your proven accomplishments. You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty to help make the world a cleaner place. Hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), or renewable diesel, is made from vegetable oils and animal fats and oils. It can be used in select diesel engines without modification and offers cleaner tailpipe emissions. GET ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT HVO

Diesel
You’re large, in charge, and not afraid to make a little noise. You’re taking advantage of what’s working today while striving to make yourself even better! Diesel as a next-generation fuel? Yes! Since around 1990, modern diesel engines have reduced both particulate matter (PM) and oxides of nitrogen (NOx), key contributors to smog, by about 98%. In fact, it would take 60 of today’s clean diesel trucks to equal the emissions of one sold in 1988. WHY DIESEL ISN'T DEAD

Hydrogen
There’s clean. And then there’s ultra-clean. You’re a powerful operator with clean hands and a clean conscience. Hydrogen burns without releasing any carbon, with only water vapor as a by-product. When that hydrogen is produced from water via electrolysis using renewable electricity, the result is a fully CO2-free fuel capable of powering locomotives, personal vehicles, gas turbines, internal combustion generators, and more. Propane
You’re soft-spoken but mighty, a reliable and proven performer. Your friends know you’re strong and efficient, despite your quiet exterior. Even though it’s a fossil fuel, propane doesn’t affect the ozone layer and presents no risk to soil, water, plants or animals. It burns cleanly and silently while delivering the power and range required for many commercial vehicle applications. EXPLORE THE SUSTAINABILITY BENEFITS OF PROPANE ENGINES
