Because of the unique nature of the bank and IFRS16, its in a unique position to buy in properties which on paper produce significant upside, whilst as a standalone market deal would otherwise not be the case, i.e. the buy-in of 2 Manchester long leaseholds for £436m generating a fee of £1.72m and this is being followed by the sell on of one of the offices for circa £85m and another fee of £350k.

C&W has created 80 bespoke reports for Sainsbury's Argos to address their repeatable reporting requirements. One example is a new debt management analytic tool, integrated to the client's Triana environment. The tool increased the client's ability to visualize and analyze the debt position - particularly important during the COVID-19 pandemic and to manage the associated debt because of repeated lockdowns.
The Entergy CEO engaged C&W to look strategically at all real estate assets in their 440-property portfolio. Project goals were to align the portfolio with business requirements, capture latent cost-saving or asset monetization opportunities, and to reduce total portfolio size. Partnering with Entergy, we have achieved the net reduction of total buildings in the portfolio by approximately 14%. We eliminated an estimated $37 million in deferred maintenance costs while keeping the employee turnover rate stable and employee satisfaction scores unchanged.
