Our story
We met in 2014 volunteering at Experience Camps, a camp for grieving kids, and became instant friends. After camp we went our separate ways, Liz back to New York and Dan back to Australia.
Where it all started
Over the next 4 years we stayed in contact, always checking in on how life was going. On one of our catch ups, Dan told Liz he wanted to move to NYC and follow his childhood dreams. This sparked something in Liz and she said she wanted to come visit Australia. When we met again, it was like no time had passed! We talked for 2 hours before we even ordered anything at the restaurant.
We went back and forth between NYC and Melbourne for a year. Then, it finally happened. September 3, 2019, Dan moved to NYC!
Since then, Dan got a great job at Ceros while Liz continues to grow Lantern. We’ve lived in two awesome apartments in Brooklyn, got our sweet dog, Finnley, and traveled all over. We even worked two inches from each other every day for 18 months and still like each other.
Then, on December 12, 2020, we got engaged in Narrowsburg, NY. We can't wait for you to join us at Camp Manitou, the place we met in 2014. This camp continues to be an incredibly special place to us both separately and together. We can’t wait to share it with you this September.

Question ANSWERS
Are my kids invited
If you have any more questions, please email us at: danandlizwedding2022@gmail.com
We love your kiddos but there will be no kids on Sunday (wedding day) as well as staying in camp accommodations. If you'd like to bring your kids, you will need to stay off camp. They are welcome to come play at camp on Saturday. We will have a list of local babysitters provided by camp, available this summer. Let us know if you're looking for a sitter. We understand some of you may have a newborn with you. Please speak to Liz or Dan, but note you’ll need to sit out of the ceremony.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
The wedding will be black tie. So dress up!
What do I bring to a summer camp?
Please see the packing list page
Do I need a COVID-19 Vaccine in order to attend?
We are asking all guests to be vaccinated to the extent recommended by medical professionals. Before attending our wedding weekend, please do a rapid or PCR test. If you are feeling unwell, we will miss you dearly but please do not attend. This will create greater peace of mind for all in attendance as we come out of a global pandemic. Thank you in advance for understanding.
Will you be providing transport to the wedding?
We will have shuttles going to these three hotels - Hampton Inn - The Elmwood - Lockwood Hotel before and after the wedding ceremony/reception. If you plan to stay for the after party you should plan to stay on camp.
