Dentists who are part of the Delta Dental PPO and Premier networks agree to offer discounted rates for their services, ensuring you pay no more than these reduced fees, which saves you money! Within these extensive national networks, a subset of dentists are Delta Dental PPO providers, who offer the most significant fee discounts.
Save Money
You will receive higher benefits by selecting a dentist from the Delta Dental PPO or Delta Dental Premier networks.
Richer Benefits
Because your treatment is paid at discounted fees, you can further stretch your annual maximum.
Stretch Your Maximum
Delta Dental has the largest network of providers in the nation. With 8 out of 10 of the nation’s dentists participating in our network, it’s easy to find one near you. In fact, your current dentist may already be in the network.
Expansive Access
In-network dentists are required to handle claim paperwork and direct payments through Delta Dental. This means you don’t have to pay the full bill upfront and then wait for reimbursement.
Easy Claim Process
All Delta Dental network dentists must meet high-quality quality standards and are regularly monitored to ensure continued excellence.
Credentialed Providers
To receive these advantages, choose a dentist from Delta Dental PPO and Delta Dental Premier network.

Choosing an Out-of-Network Dentist
Your Amazon dental plan always allow you to choose the dentist that is right for you and your family – even if that dentist is not part of the Delta Dental network.
If your dentist is not part of the Delta Dental network, please note:
You will be responsible for any difference between your provider’s normal charge and Delta Dental’s allowable fee for that treatment. This is in addition to your coinsurance and deductible.
Out of network dentists may ask you for full payment upfront, which means you’ll have to wait for reimbursement until after your claim has paid.
Many out-of-network dentists will handle the claim submission process for you, but there are some providers that ask their patients to file their own claims with Delta Dental.
If you're curious about your financial responsibility when seeing a dentist who isn't in your network, you can simply ask them to send a "Confirmation of Treatment and Cost" (also called a "predetermination") to Delta Dental. This way, both you and your provider can know exactly what your dental plan covers. It's a great way to avoid any surprises!
The Confirmation of Treatment and Cost will be available to view within the MySmile benefits portal in as little as 2 business days but can take up to 2-weeks for more extensive procedures. Regardless of if you see an in-network or out-of-network dentist, Delta Dental is here to help you. If you have any questions about your benefits or upcoming treatment, please reach out to us on our dedicated Amazon line at 1-844-466-8847.
Select from either the Delta Dental PPO or Delta Dental Premier networks. Higher in-network benefits are available through PPO providers.
