Children up to

Fillings are covered
at 80%, once
per surface every
two years.*
Root canals are
covered at 50%.
There may be limits
on retreatment.*

of Virginia is working to change that and has included extra benefits for members who fall under this health care need.

With Prevention First, the costs for preventive care, such as exams and cleanings, are excluded from your annual benefits maximum. That means you can get your regular checkups and cleanings, and your entire annual maximum will be available for other covered services.

Right Start 4 Kids® helps remove cost barriers to dental care for children by providing 100% coverage up to their 13th birthday for all covered services, excluding orthodontics, when they visit a participating dentist.
Right Start 4 Kids
*Coinsurance levels apply when visiting an out-of-network dentist. Right Start 4 Kids is subject to limitations, exclusions and annual maximum. Check plan details for specific coverage. Orthodontic services are not eligible for the 100% coverage level.
