Mustang Mach-E uses the universal CCS Combined Charging System with simple-to-use AC and fast-charging DC plugs all compatible with the car’s CCS socket, sited for ease-of-charging on the front near side of the car.
If you need to charge in a hurry, standard DC charging capability lets you add 78 miles of range in just ten minutes for Extended Range RWD vehicle at a high-power
charging station.*****
By leaving fuel behind, Electric car owners have the advantage of cheaper running costs. You could see a typical saving of £752 based on 12,500 miles per annum, fuel economy 46.3mpg (6.1L/100km), fuel cost £1.18/litre, domestic electricity cost of £0.20/kWh, an energy consumption of 16.5kWh/100 km and all charging carried out at home******.
HOME CHARGING
The Mustang Mach-E can be charged from a common household plug socket using the Ford Varipower Home Charge Cable (provided with your vehicle) and its domestic socket connector. However, we would recommend using a Ford Wallbox charging point.
The Ford Connected Wallbox (available at an additional cost) offers a faster method of home charging that takes approximately 14 hours for extended range battery, and can be controlled with the FordPass app.*****
