Let them go past, then come off at the nearest junction and rest for 20 minutes
Let them overtake before tailgating them to teach them a lesson
Stay calm, and if possible pull over to the inside lane when safe, then let them get on their way
What should you check over before a long journey?

A Learner driver is driving slowly and holding you up. What do you do?
Give them the time and space to make their way on the road, overtaking if safe
Flash your lights and sound your horn so they know you’re behind them
Tailgate them before overtaking as quickly as possible - they need to learn how much hassle they’re causing
You’re on a motorway with a 70mph limit. How fast should you be driving?
70mph - no more, no less
80mph - it’s the unofficial limit, after all
No faster than 70mph, and slower if traffic is heavy or conditions are poor
You have a manual car and your passenger tells you you are ‘riding the clutch’. What do they mean?
You are using the clutch too aggressively
You are resting your left foot on the clutch pedal when not changing gear
You are sitting on a purse or handbag
You come back to your car and find you have received a parking ticket. Do you:
Add it to the collection in your glovebox - you’ll deal with them all at the end of the month
Tear it up and chuck it in the road
Take photos of your car and any road signs or markings in case you have grounds to contest the ticket, but be prepared to pay within a certain timeframe
