“My younger daughter’s bedroom window is road-facing and we always struggled with privacy issues. It would drive me mad that she would keep her blind down for extended periods and live in the dark,” she recalls. “From a design perspective, I knew a Roman blind would best suit the room but I hadn’t thought about how to resolve the problem of being seen by people on the road below.” Suzie was overjoyed when a Hillarys advisor came up with a fabulous solution – adding a simple sheer roller blind behind the Roman blind, hidden when rolled up but elegant when down.
