The Art of Style
At the intersection of art, fashion, and individuality, you will always find the curators. These are the people who are brave enough to step into their purpose and create spaces and pieces for us to admire and indulge in. Curators are everywhere, but there's something special about those who create amid the chaos of New York City. It's no secret that personal style matters, and that's where Longchamp comes in. While they're busy creating, some of the best-dressed curators are sporting this Parisian brand's latest fall/winter collection as part of the Be Creative campaign. Join us as we step into their world.

Meet Alley Bell, a multidisciplinary Brooklyn-based artist whose work fuses her backgrounds in studio art and interior design. All it takes is one quick scroll through her social media feeds to see how beautifully Bell can transform a space. With small-batch materials and raw pigments as her primary elements, she adds her flair to boutiques, homes, and even the occasional Brooklyn powder room. "No two days are the same for me. When I'm not installing, I'm typically in the studio or traveling," she says. Her travels largely influence her work. "So much of my own creative process comes from allowing myself to explore without knowing exactly where something will lead," she says. And that's the purpose of the Winter campaign, to emphasize curiosity and exploration, which are at the root of any creative process.
There's no denying the inherent tie between fashion and design. Bell refers to them both as "sculptural forms of art that solve everyday problems in a beautiful manner." Fashion and interiors play similar roles in Bell's life—she uses them to create a visual language and express stories. Embracing quintessential fall layers with craftsmanship and comfort at the forefront, Bell opted for loose shorts, lightweight knits, a collarless leather jacket, boat shoes, and the incredible Le Cadence bag from Longchamp. "The look I'm wearing is timeless, combining rich, natural hues and materials, like much of my work," Bell says.

Breanna Young is an interior decorator and content creator who made the leap from digital designer for magazines you know and love to full-time design content creator after her "first, very shaky apartment tour video ended up going viral." Working for herself means making her own schedule. "Some days, I'm styling my own space, recording unique angles over the couch, and playing records," she says. "Other days, I'm styling the spaces of others through creating mood boards and sharing them." Consuming Young's amazing decor content will make you want to redo your entire space, so please watch it at your own risk. For Young, the most fulfilling aspect of this new career path is the opportunity to apply everything she's learned (graphic design, interior design, video editing, business strategy, and more) to her new dream job. "I love that this campaign is highlighting real creatives, with real aspirations, who are believing in themselves and taking risks. I love reading stories of people who bet on themselves and are thriving, because we need more encouragement in the world to do so," she says.
Young has been into fashion for as long as she can remember, and for this, she credits her parents, who taught her that style reflects who you are. "It was one of the first ways I learned to express myself creatively. I feel more confident in well-designed spaces and outfits, and I think all types of design lead to one another," she says. Her personal style reflects her warm interior style. It's classy and minimal with an edge, focusing on neutrals and the warm and moodier side of the color palette during the fall season, which shines through in her Longchamp ensemble. Mixing burgundy and rich brown hues for a tonal look, Young masters the art of simultaneously blending in and standing out. "I love finding quality statement pieces I can hold onto for a long time. My weakness is a timeless leather jacket or bag," she says. Let's just say that the Longchamp Le Cadence is worth letting temptation take over.
