Regenerative Viticulture
The Regenerative Viticulture Foundation was established by Stephen Cronk in 2021. It aims to ‘inspire the transition towards regenerative viticulture through science, communication and support for growers’. The RVF brings together producers, scientists, educators, advisers and other sustainability organisations in a collaborative effort to support growers transitioning to regenerative practices.
Its key activities are collating up-to-date research and information to share with growers (e.g. the recent literature review), supporting growers to understand the regenerative practices possible in their vineyards (e.g. the ‘RV Guide’) and enabling communities of growers to share their experiences and best practice. To meet these objectives, the RVF is investing in a new website in 2025 to include a discussion forum. With eight trustees around the world, it is funded by philanthropic donations such as the much appreciated support from Decanter.
