Method
Heat the oven to 200C Fan/Gas 7.
Unroll the pastry, remove the paper and place onto a baking tray. Lay the puff pastry onto a chopping board. Spread over the pesto and scatter over the grated Gruyère .
Cut the puff pastry width wise into 8-10 pieces. To create the twists, roll up from one corner to make a twist, then arrange onto the baking tray. Brush the twists with some milk and then put this into the oven.
Bake for 15 mins or until golden brown and puffed up and the pastry is cooked through.
