4TH QUARTER
Check out the Volunteer Energy Roar Meter when the Lions are on defense. When it goes up, let us hear you ROAR and get the meter past 115 during opponent possessions. The highest noise volume ever recorded at Ford Field is 121.1db, set during the 4th quarter of the Lions win over the Washington Redskins on October 23, 2016.
A loud crowd during opponent offensive drives gives us a home-field advantage. The most false starts ever at Ford Field was October 10, 2011 on Monday Night Football vs. Chicago. The Bears had nine false start penalties in front of a Ford Field record crowd of 67,861.
THE ROAR METER
Be one of the game changers and get LOUD on opponent third downs! Look for the Hungry Howie’s 3rd Down signs in the crowd during opponent third downs, and when you see them – make some noise to shake up the opponent!
