2024 SOC Analyst Appreciation Day Award Nominations
SOC analysts are the unsung heroes of their organizations. These awards recognize analysts who go above and beyond the call of duty and handle their pressure-packed jobs exceptionally well. Review the categories below and then nominate top-performing analysts that you know! The nomination application is now closed.
Judges will review the nominations for their quality, completeness, and how well the nomination demonstrated that the analyst exemplified the attributes and values outlined in each category. Winners will be announced and celebrated on SOC Analyst Appreciation Day in October. We can't wait to celebrate then!
Continuous Learner
Community Crusader
This is a special award category just for Devo users! This award recognizes the top and most engaged members of our user community, Devo Connect. This person asks thoughtful questions, helps others, and keeps up with all the latest and greatest from Devo. Individuals will be nominated by our customer marketing team. The winner will receive special recognition on Devo Connect and will be rewarded for their contributions to our growing community.
Best Collaborator
Collaboration is a critical skill needed for all SOC analysts. This award recognizes the individual who goes above and beyond in their role to ensure the group's success. This person prioritizes the team — as a whole — and looks to ensure that the entire SOC can work effectively.
Unflappable Analyst
The role of a SOC analyst is highly demanding and stressful. Oftentimes, it seems like there is not enough time in the day to complete all of the necessary tasks of the role. Further, SOC analysts do important work, and many feel the pressure to perform and defend their organization. This award recognizes someone who can keep calm amidst the chaos and thrive in their role despite the daily pressures.
Nominate Here
It is critical for SOC analysts to stay up to date on the latest trends, technologies and certifications. However, it can be challenging to carve out time for continuous learning in such a demanding and time-consuming role. The recipient of this award is someone who has a thirst for knowledge and a curious mindset. They go above and beyond in their responsibilities and take the time to proactively learn new skills and stay updated on the latest industry trends — and they share what they learn with others.
All nominations are reviewed by a third-party panel of judges for completeness and clarity. Nominations will be evaluated based on how well the nominator demonstrates that the nominee exemplifies the skills and values outlined in the category description. The more detailed the nomination is, the better the nominee’s chances of winning. When nominating someone, please clearly explain why they should be recognized. Devo reserves the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete or irrelevant to the category.

Nominations for each category are reviewed and scored by more than one judge, so no individual judge will be solely responsible for determining the winner of a single category. This enables us to avoid any biases from the judging process.

When will the winners be announced?
Yes. This is a great way to increase the nominee’s chances of winning, as the judges will have more materials and context with which to assess the nominee's skills and determine whether they serve as a role model for other SOC analysts. The Community Crusader category is the only category that won’t be judged by our esteemed panel of judges.
